A day and a half of painting Aunt Nana's house because she ask me for help. With 2 little devils swarming at your feet, waiting to topple the tray of paint. And the silent boredom of the big neighbourhood. That was my weekend.
There was a nostalgic moment when I was walking along the neighbourhood, where I spent 4 years of my life, cause school was near there. The basketball court. It brings back memories of late evenings of soccer with tapped pants and school tie. And rough matches with discreet block boys who were to eager to show their skills.
And at the end of the day it was a scolding from mom.. for the dirty shoes. It wasn't the winnings that I recalled back, it was my fun and passion for soccer. I used to call the Arab down or whoever had a soccer ball at that point of time, just so I can juggle or release my stress from school by ramming the ball pass the goal post. And so by then I had broken 13 under-the-block lamps, an old man's umbrella, 2 slippers and a car's tire (I think). And for the boys who done it all, thank you or all those wonderful matches. But seeing now the all so empty court filled by the cocky basketball boys (can't blame them either it's a basketball court anyway),
I missed those times.
Hope a new generation of school boys might filled our gap and continue the 'tradition' of beautiful soccer..I wonder..
When all that's said, Jimmy had his first blood during training last night. Oh well. He hit my groin. So we call it square then? Here's a sorry. And I cut my hair. Did I mention Nurul gave me a card? Haha. My first Raya card. And it's cute. Handmade. SOrry yeah. I'll make you one next year. Promise.
So to end this post today..here's a few pics.
